Bullhead City
Originally established as a trading post by Captain W.H. Hardy in 1864 the city was formerly called Hardyville. The town was burned down in 1873 and was later reborn as Bullhead City as a base camp for the building of the Davis Dam.
Located in Mohave County, Bullhead City offers miles of hiking, the Lake Mead National Recreation Area, Arizona’s Veteran Memorial, the Colorado River Museum and 24 hour entertainment. Nearby one can see the Grand Canyon National park, the London Bridge, Hoover and Davis Dams, the Havasu National Wildlife Refuse and a myriad of lakes and other wonders.
