Pine Arizona

Pine is a vacation-retirement region locates in Gila County, Arizona. It is a rapidly growing vacation and retirement center in the north central part of Arizona State. It sits at an elevation of 5,448 and its name was derived from the surrounding pine timber country. The post office of the community was founded in 1884. The town of Pine is around 110 miles north of Phoenix and is still unincorporated. It has four seasons but none are severe.

Today, Pine is town that offers a many scenic areas. These include Control Road, Mogollan Rim Road and Tonto Natural Bridge. It has a population of 2,959 as of U.S. Census 2000.
