Sahuarita Arizona
Sahuarita is located in Pima County, Arizona. It was recently incorporated in 1994 and the town encompasses a 30 square mile area surrounded by majestic mountain ranges. Sahuarita shares with the retirement community of Green Valley its southern border. It also offers a direct access to Tucson and Mexico via Interstate 19.
The community of Sahuarita, at an elevation of 2,844 feet, has a growing number of family residential areas in a semi-rural setting including three other master-planned communities namely: Rancho Sahuarita, Quail Creek and Madera Highlands. Based on the 2004 U.S. Census, it has a population of 9,715. It continues to grow economically but much of its residents are employed either in Tucson or nearby Green Valley.
