Tonalea Arizona
Tonalea is located in Coconino County, in the Flagstaff metro area. It has a total land area is 9.7 square miles with a population of 562 as of year 2000 census. It is an unincorporated area with an elevation of 5,659 feet. The community name was derived from the Navajo term “to neheliih” which means “big lake.”
